i see all these amazing sigs, and then i look at the tutorials to make them, and it says on them "use youre fav. brushes and start drawing" and then the tut shows me an image of it brushed,and im like OMG i dont have those kind of brushes (i have CS2 by the way) so i download some, and some more. but i just cant stop thinking.... WHERE CAN YOU GET THESE COOL BRUSHES??????? i need help because i want to create sigs and grunge sigs. i have already but they suck because i dont have good brushes. i have dowloaded tons of grunge brushes from every website imaginable. but i just cant find the brushes im looking for. please help me!!!!! <_< :(

I had a simillar problem: I have all these brushes that I like but how do i do the insane brushing jobs that you guys do? I dont want a tut or anything. I just want tips or hints. I can already see the rplys coming "just try it on your own." And Thats what i plan on doing. I just need a starting point.

Do lots of layers, some nice pieces even take up- to 20layers of brushing...
Some with lots on, some with a bit on, some with white, some with black etc...
Just need to learn youre own technique by playing around with them and seee what you like best

Layers and layers. And layer modes. Some layers i use are just plain white.. on like, 10% opacity. But i feel it adds to the peice so it's a worthwhile layer.
