Hmm, to me, the render and the colours do not compliment eachother. Neither do the render and the brushing in my opinion. Maybe if you could change the colour scheme to suit the render, I'm not really liking the rainbow.
The first atempt is pretty bad sorry but those 2 are pretty sweet, not sure whether you should current it though...
Fix the text, get rid of the effects and get a small arial or something, and fnd some good tutorials on making it nice...
Whent he text is done the only main thing is it looks as though theres a layer of brushing that has a very low opacity and it looks very weird...
Fic those on the top one and i think it may be worth currenting not sure... see how ti turns out but the top one has good potential the second render is too similar to the brushing and colouring... dont look to nice

the second one of the original the colours look a lot better and it looks as if the render has been blended better on the 2nd sig the render looks to small and the colours dont really match the render that well so try to blend the render and make the colours match

tetsuo you didnt really make any sense. the sig with the new render or the original render but diff. bg???
You don't have to have a render in every sig. This would own ( the first one ) without a render .

Makw the text and border invisible. Make a new layer and go to Image>Apply Image, then press OK. Duplicate that new layer, and take two colors from your sig with the color dropper. Desaturate the duplicated layer and go to Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Gradient Map, click OK. Press reverse if you want to, and if the colors you chose don't look good try some of photoshop's default gradients. Lower the opacity on that layer, and see what looks good. Maybe make the desaturated layer invisible. Just play with it. Don't forget to add a Levels layer and fix that text.

Wow I think you did a grade A job on brushing those sigs. I'm not really one for brushed up sigs.. i'm more of a simplistic guy but I really like those. I also think you great on multicoloring those sigs. The first one is mutlicolored great but it doesnt fit render.
Now for downpoint(s) Your text clashes against the sig too much. 1. It's too white and pulls away from the sig as a whole 2. it's too big and is still pulling away from the sig as a whole and 3. the location is too high and percise thus once again pulling away from the sig as a whole. Someone once told me "The text is never the focus point of a sig. Make it hidden and out of place, but yet still visable to the human eye"
i have edited the text as you requested ben. i am listening very intently to all the c+c's but you havent said anything about it except the text. so is it right that if i change the text it will be kick ass??? lol :P

Ben
Change the font on the first, its too fat
On the second one, ermm its a bit hard to spot, read IMO.
Keep listning to everyone's C+C and soon they will be kick ass :D
