Ok you are challenged here, what do you do?
You stand atop a building. There are 3 parachutes. You are told that if you put one of them on and jump off you will be given a cash prize in a box.
Only catch is, one of the parachutes will not open.
Do you do it for the money?
if the building is one floor tall, why not :D
anything over five floors, nope. money is not that important.

if the jump would kill me na, but otherwise ye, its only pain, lol, goes after a while
any parachute wont open when you will jump from building (for example with 9 floors)
you will fly too fast and it wont open, but if will open, it wont slowly.

I'd take my gut feeling on which to take. I mean there's a better chance of getting one that does work, then one that dosen't ;)
I would probably do it, but if it were televised there laws regarding someone's safety.

Depends, how much money and how far down? Most likely yes cause it could be fun....until I go splat.
It would have to be high enough to where a parachute could be beneficial, like not 1 to 3 stories, a parachute won't help.

Plus, if you wear shoes, and slam right down on water, it breaks the fall and doesnt hurt so bad.. might break your legs but.. eh cash prize ;)

It's a good point though, there's no amount of money that hardwork and persevearence can't get you. Of course, should you have the intelligence, there are plenty of ways, many of which are much quicker, to obtain other people's money. Scams, entrepreneuring... it's all fair game.
well if the money was just in a box at the bottom, i'd grab all the parachuttes, jump down, grab the money, then run. :)
