I tried to speed-paint something to see if it'd look okay. I think it came out pretty well :)
25-30 minutes.

lol I love it. love the minimalism and simplicity
I like it a lot. It's interesting. Gillian likes it too.
^_^
Love the edges of the characters. The shapes, colours and tones are all very well done. The shapes are kinda exadurated, but only slightly.. adds more emotion ( Not sure what emotions..) to the peice ^_^
Thanks for all the feedback, yea, the shapes are exaggerated, to emphasize a more 'unrealistic'/'weird' feeling to it. Good that you caught that.
I did catch one thing that was out of place with it though, the 'man' is more clearer compared to the rest of the pic. heheh I dunno if it makes the pic worse or better though. I'll play around with it.
Thanks!
I think it's just his hat that is a little defined... just go over the edges with some light brush so he looks more.. freeform or w/e the word is. =) Still awesome. i like the shape of the peach also :D
i love the idea and colours
but imo banana could be better ^^
It's cool and I like it because it reminds me of James and The Giant Peach (some crazy movie) .
This is an awsome piece. I love the technique and the minimalism and the style - the whole painting is great! It's amazing how you can use Photoshop for things other than sigs or run-of-the-mill digi-art pieces. Once agian you show yourself to be a true artist.
BUT I think you should take that text away and put in your signature, like the one you used to have in your current.
I love it! awsome job for 25-30 mins. i need to talk to you some time about digi painting!
Sure, you can look @ profile for my MSN and we can have a good chit-chat.
Thanks for the comments guys, oh yea MT, I was thinking of putting my written signature in, but then I tried to make up a new written signature. Anyone else done that? :D
I'll put together a sort of 'guide' to digital painting in the near future I guess, just about brush settings and when to use them and all that jazz.
LOVE IT... simple very strong and a little scary
