wow im listening to sublime at the exact moment i saw this post its pretty cool... mmm the sig is very dark and the render is overblended i think the text also needs to be improved
Can't really add more to what OpticoN said. Just work on those things and try again =)
The text is pretty bad- the bluish stroke on it, that is. It is pretty dark too, and the BG is very plain. However, it is awesome for a first sig. Mine was shite and filter whored. Good work for a first.
Best first sig i ver seen, if it is your first first
Well, it's my first with Photoshop, anyway.
What PS tool would I use to make it brighter?
What color do you suggest for the stroke on the text?
Hmm, I don't see anything in this sig. Hard to comment something you don't know what's there. For sure, work on text!
You can't see it? I can see it in FF, and I also tested it in IE. Just fine for me.Quote:

Go to image>new adjustment layer>brightness and contrast
And adda a border by making a new layer, pressing ctrl + a then right clicking and go to stroke and make sure its 1pixel and INSIDE
I know how to stroke (the sig has a 1px border on it). Shamino said that the bluish stroke on the text was bad, so I was wondering what color I should change it to.
Try not to brush over the face of the render. It never looks good. Also, keep the text simple. Take the bevel and emboss off at the very least.
To make it brighter make a new layer. Hide your text and border layers and go to Image>Apply Image. Then set the blending mode to screen and lower the opacity. this works sometimes, and remember that subtle changes can add or take away from a signature. Hope this helped. Post an update? :D
Hehe, I see sig, but it's too dark :) make it brighter.
Update:
http://img482.imageshack.us/img482/1...on3copy6yg.png
Got rid of the bevel and emboss on the text, and changed the color of the stroke.
Adjusted Brightness and Contrast to +20.
Erased dark brushing over render.
