ok so i'm building a lord of the rings diarama, you know using the lord of the rings warhammer set, anyone have had or has any experience in going about this, also if so do you have any models you could possibly take pictures of and show me some of your stuff it would help loads, i know dragoneye has some sick diarama. So if possible please help i want to make the two towers
Well i'm painting up a Warhammer 40 000 army but that's about it- I don't know much about LOTR except everything in that store is horribly overpriced. Here's hoping you got 600 bucks.

I used to do W40K I had a huuuuuge Dark Elf (or whatever their called, the elves that are all gothy) Army and then my mum gave it all to charity lol.

yeah dark eldar are funny and csm :lol: i saw a tentacle pink chaos space marine squad the other day it looked way funny..
and the lotr arn't overpriced they're a hell of a lot cheaper .. and especially being that the factory is in lincoln :lol: (south of me and to the east) :P

i had dark eldar too, like 4 years ago, i sold them and started collecting eldar, then i sold the eldars and now i got tyranids ;)

I was never really into it. I never understood it too much. A friend of mine got into it, and I tried playing with him it just wasnt fun for me. I also heard its a pretty expensive hobby.
i'd say yeh it is on the expensive side but not too much.. it's quite fun too, i love building, pinting and playing so all round it's good for me^_^ i'm just going to finish off my uruk'hai army and then buy some more this saterday i'm getting a cave troll, sauron, saramon, mines of moria, warriors of rohan army, another uruk'hai army and maybe a few war mimak (oliphant) and a big board and the equipment needed to building the board and such it's going to be ace!! :D ... the highlight o this week <_< :(
can someone fill me in as to whats going on? are they like say... car models where you build and paint them?
yeah except once done you play a strategy game which is actually quite fun, i didn't think it would be except it is.. i don't know all of the rules but i knew most of them so yeah :D
