I think this should be made a poll and changed to clashing opinions.
Oh, and I don't smoke, don't plan to. Waste of money.

Well uh, I occasionally have a cigar... maybe I need to like change my answer.
Used to ;) like 2 years and then i quit.
sometimes socially, but thats rare.
My dad used to smoke, but he quit, my grandfather died of lung cancer, most likely due to smoking, and I never Smoked before.

yep i smoke, about 15 a day and for about 5-6 yrs now.
Why pay money to die? I think dying should be free!
My dad's been trying to quit. He's put on at least ten pounds since he's stopped from all the food cravings he gets.
well i don't smoke but from passive smoking about 50 a day, i go on the school bus and for the past 5 years i've had to deal with passive smoking, when about half the people smoke on the bus and even though being a double decker it doesn't help to sit anywhere else... in an enclosed environment i swear some of those ignorant fucks .. if cancer doesn't kill them.. i will..
so i say about 10 a day

like if i'm at a concert i will have like 2-3...or when i smoke a couple bowls i'll have a cig.
Anything you smoke im pretty much totally agaisnt. This is just from personal expieirece with friends. All who have smoke or done drugs are total fags now. As for cigarattes why anyone would smoke them is beyond me. i would like someone who smokes them to tell me why. Cancer sound appealing or do you just love the sound of black tar.

I'm in the same boat as vermillion here. I can't stand the smell of it. Also like i've said before, being seven and attending your first funeral, especially one of a grandfather who once was an alcoholic and smoked a pack a day is enough to keep you away. I consider myself fortunate to be in a school where it's a smoke free environment, and with friends who wouldn't think to drink, smoke, or do drugs. Definitely not underage.
Not to make anyone feel guilty by saying that, but truthfully, that stuff just gets peoples' lives ruined around here. While i don't think a bad decision at age 15 or so should be seen for the rest of your life (goes on record around here, you get expelled if it's bad enough), it does most of the time and that's just another reason not to do it.
I smoke pot between 5-10 times a day. It's fun - but expensive, lol.
Smoking's hardly addicting. I tried it a few times .. (( get me? )) in the summer last year.. and got bored of it. Only time i'll do it is at gigs and sometimes when out with friends, also at parties. There isn't much point in it, and there's no particular reason for doing it, that could be the reason though.. something to do.
Also alot of people beleive it releives them of their stress, i don't find it does this in any way what so ever, and it makes your throat feel bad the next day.
The only thing i'd try now really is a cigar, i wouldn't want to smoke them, i just wonder if they smell / taste different to cigarettes , better or worse :)
Nope never, I personally like my lungs and I think they like me too.
I HAVE, i dont know why, everyone i hung around with did so i guess i just followed them.
For some reason i quit the second i wanted to.
I completely hate it, my nan died of lung cancer probably because of it and i think it absolutely reaks, if someone near me smokes i either walk away no matter who, have a go at them or blatently tell themt hey are going to die because of a little stick they put in their mouth.
Like someone said, why pay to die? A bridge or a knife is cheaper and quicker.

Well i used to smoke only 1-2 a day, and surely i would've gotten addicted off that, if it was for a month or two... ? =/ Or do you need to smoke more ?
I only smoke like once a month but i have officially quit...
After smoking a couple marb lights.....then throwing up and tasting it....again.....horrible.
Besides it IS useless and fucking gross. and a waste of money....WOOT! for me
i normally smoke about 7 a day. alot more if im drunk. i intend to quit after all my exams though.

i'm going to start smoking classy cigars and i mean the really really expensive ones when i'm a 50-60 year old sucessful guy ^_^

hey Verm if u wanna know reason why people smokes ciggarettes then hear this : mostly it starts like a cool thing, cuase u say ye i smoke im cool look at me, and by the time it becomes habit, then u realize u need it, so u smoke on your way to school, on noon break, after school, etc. etc., and ure fkin addict like me. thats it
