AMD 2700+ OCed to faster than 3200+ speeds (I think it was the 3200+).
Asus A7N8X-deluxe mobo.
Audigy Soundblaster ZS gamer edetion sound card.
512mb of crappy kingmax ram.
AT Radeon 9200 slightly OCed.
Some retarded all acrylic case - seemed cool wehn I bought it.
Razer DiamondBack mouse and ExactMat mouse pad. - Wacom tablet coming soon.
Kickass Infinity tower speakers for stereo sound, 2 smaller infinity speakers for rear channels. All running through mt Kenwood reciever and into a Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS. (Take that, morphius. Computer speakers suck ;) ).
All ran on crappy Windows XP, but lucky for me I have a partitions set aside for Redhat Linux ;) .
Now my upcoming computer? Lets see...
Windows XP with no Service Pack crap, and one partition for Linux.
Processor: AND 64 3500+

Soundsystem: Kickass Infinity tower speakers for stereo sound, 2 smaller infinity speakers for rear channels. All running through mt Kenwood reciever and into a Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS.
Well yeah, but my speakers are quit good anyway. But yours arent too good ethier. If you really want good sound from the computer you must by a surround decoder 1000+ dollars and speakers for 10000+ dollars each then you maby can talk about some speakers. And the speakers trademark would be atleast be B&W NAUTILUS or better.Quote:

And the soundcard audigy 2 zs its a bit old why dont you take the audigy 4 ;) 269 dollars or something ;).
But anyhow my speaker system is still quit good for the money I bought it for.
Windows XP Dell (Pentium 4). Its about 2.5 years old, and still running great.
the 2700+ is clocked faster then the 2800+ but the 2800+ has double the cache and is barton
A surround decoder for 1000+ dollars? And a normal audigy 2 ZS will take out a normal CD player unless you pay more than 450-500. dollars.Quote:

I really didn't understand your post...Sorry.
And Ze, I'm running it at 2.5ghz. I think 1.7 or 1.8 is the factory setting.
ooh youve overclocked? u got a water cooler or something?
cause watch your cpu it will fry , unlike an intel....
anyway it still only has half the cache and isnt designed on the barton core
i really want a duel procesor g4
not a g5, they too expensive for me :) ( im only 13 lol )
Don't worry. Temps are at a stable 65-70C* They start to fry at 100 and act all goofy at 90. You don't need water-cooling to overclock. I just have a Zalman copper heatsink. The flower-like one. Best heatsink I have ever owned ;) .Quote:

How did you get 504mb of ram? TRam only comes in 128, 256, 512, and 1024 megs. Your computer must have a screwed up setting or faulty ram. My friend had a 128mb stick of ram but it showed as 127mb so he had to get a new stick.Quote:

RAID arrays are when you start having 4+ HDDs.... For 1Tb+ dataspace. Like my dad's company's server. 5Tb.
I've got a linux box and a windows box. The linux box is an old Dell I got from my younger brother when I upgraded him. And My main windows system is a home built concoction. I'm hoping to add a laptop to the set, and hopefully it will be an Apple iBook or PowerBook (if I'm really lucky).
