Just a tad flat, needs some highlights, and such =)

I love it! The colours are so clean and the image looks nice and smooth. I don't like the gradient for the pipe. Use a 3 tone thing, do the pipe a bluey grey like you have it, and add shadows, and add highlights :) Reminds me of my head... haha :) Good work! :D

Would also look cool in candy apple green :D or red ^_^

How did you make the swirly things so nice? Did you add a gradient to them?

i like it kind of odd looking but its nice

no gradient, just done with the pen tool and each layer was two tones darker then the previous.

I like what you've done with the left side, the shades of colors and what not, id do the same to the right. I think its just too dull on the right side. Hope to see another update. :)

yeah its still WIP :) got tones more work to do... just basicly a taste of what the whole thing will be later on.

I personally like the non shaded version, but thats just me. It's kinda tough to say, since they're different.
