My Photography I guess

It's grainy because I shot it at low light, and it's not a filter either, I used a red curtain to give that light through a window

You're probably gonna get a lot of flack for this because it's so grainy (and yes, I see why) but before anyone posts anything negative, let me tell you that I like it and have no complaints with it, honestly.

If you would have re-sized to a smaller image, then added a border of some type, it would rock! =)

It looks like you used a compact digital camera for this? The exposure time is too short, which leaves you with a blurry result. The camera doesn't get time to take in enough light. If you have access to a SLR camera, like borrow from a friend or family member, then try the shot one more time, trying out different exposure times! You could also try different white balance modes and see what happens with the colors. Good luck. :]

Actually, I used film, and an slr. It was the best one out of all the others I took, spent a whole roll on it. ( 36 exposures) but, since I am poor, sadly it was Wal-Mart film. So that might have something to do with it.

Ah, nice! :) I also shoot analog, although I'm just about to buy a digital SLR. How long was the exposure? It seems that it was either too short, or the camera couldn't focus right. That's why I thought you used a compact camera. I don't think that the type of film matters that much in this case. Can I see some of the other photos from the session?

There is a program that u can use to remove the grain but i dont remember what its called, someone might now in here.
Good job on the shot its pretty...dark.

That cleaned up image looks great. Real sombre and moody. Nice colour too.

AntidotexXx: Did you ask Darkness-Consumes if it was ok? Personally, I think it's annoying when people starts editing your work without permission. He/she hasn't replied to this topic, so I want to know..

Nice clean up job, how did you achieve these results, plugins or doing mysterious things in the channels pallette ?

No i did not ask because i don't feel that is altering his/her work, its just a cleanup that was achieved through NeatImage, i didnt change any colors,or claim it as my own so i guess thats your opinion. If the author says otherwise then i shall remove it and apologize :)
