Maybe they're all planning together to take out as many schools as possible in a month?
thats realy sad :(
we talked about his in my film studies class after watcing carrie
a lot of it is because of bullying...kids oin in and killing e kid that was bullying them, lots of thingslike that.
course then you get the wierdos like the guy that shot up the amish school, he was a child molester or something.
i find it all so sadthat thingslike that happen :(
I went to Google News, and I was going to read about the school shootings that have all been happening like mad lately. When I got there, there was an article that said it was posted 44 minutes before about someone with a gun in a school. 44 minutes from when I got onto it! I was like...wow...that's so crazy.
I think people are just getting straight-up mean these days. I mean, when I was younger, I always got picked on. I'm smaller than the other guys, and I'm a freakin' weirdo, so I got picked on all the time all the way up to high school. Then I got big friends. ;) But the point is, it was wedgies and stuff like that, you know? No big deal. And I think a lot of it was also that I had a mother who cared and, you know, PARENTED me. People these days are so mean to each other, and parents do a pretty piss poor job of raising their kids. Set them in front of the TV and they'll be okay. It's ridiculous -- really ridiculous.
Wasn't the anniversary of Columbine recently, too? That's probably why this stuff always happens right now.
Yea I agree. Parents these days just let their kids run riot, not enough discipline.
too many children like those trenchcoat mafia faggots.. and too many authorities blaming it on video games.. fuck the media.. and fuck the kids who go on shooting sprees..
Haha. There's drug busts, shootings, and such everday in my cities schools. =P
... god help you sam.. god help you.. XD
We had a kid bring a gun to school three weeks ago. It wasn't loaded, but he had a clip in his backpack. Surprisingly, not much was said about it around school, they just kinda forgot about it.
Gun threats... yes... shootings...not yet.
wow, im glad i live in a peaceful area'
i dont even think most of toronto is as bad as half the stuff you guys are saying
we had a bunch of bomb threats back in the day.. but now its really quiet... aside from drug dealing that is XDD but really not much threat wise
I switched schools (not because of violence, but because the school just sucked academically), and the school I used to go to was ruthless. There weren't any shootings, and maybe a couple threats a year, but physical violence was outstanding. I remember one time these two kids got into a fight, TWO KIDS, mind you. The hallway they were fighting in had to be shut off from use so they could clean up the blood. That stuff happened all the time at that school. I also remember one time a kid got his face smashed through a window by another kid. That crap's ridiculous.
I live in a nice nonviolent suburban town, so I dont need to worry too much about these kind of things. ;) Occasionally we've had a kid bring a gun or drugs to school, but thats it. However, they keep on saying stuff like this happening in towns like mine, so its kinda scary. And there is that kid in my grade who always spazzes out and yells at people who make fun of him (and there are quite a few of them, because he is rather spazzy, spits on his hands, and sleeps in class all the time) he kinda sounds like a school shooter to me... *shifty eyes*
People in my school deal drugs, no one knows about it apart from a few certain people in school who deal them, buy them frequently so no body but a few of us knows about it so we are safe. There are the odd idiots who ttry it largly and then get caught lmfao no guns or anything happended though.
People just need to chill. Killing people doesn't get u anywhere. I used to get bullied, until I grew to be one of the tallest in the school, and now every1 in school wants to be on my good side :) . I never told anyone cuz it was my own battle. I learned how to handle myself.
You can't blame it on video games either. I'm a gamer and I've never shot a gun at somebody. I've shot a gun but not at anybody. It's the individual and the parents. If the gun is in the house it's easy to talk yourself into using it.
When I lived in the city around my block there were like 3 gangs so there was alot of violence. But my parents were (and still are) doing a great job parenting. I guess growing up in an environment like that kinda keeps you away from drugs and gangs. It builds character. Teaches you how to survive.
I'm only 14 :D and people say I'm so mature and smart. I made it to 14 (almost 15) by staying off the streets and respecting people. I know 14 isn't old but I could be dead if I didn't use my head.
But back to school. I live out in the country now. But the school system is worse out here. Nobody gets shot or got stabbed, but people feel like they can do anything in a nameless town. People fight, sell drugs, drink, and do tons of illegal things. I see people throw their lives away daily. Some kid recently got arrested and is in lock up for 2 years for doing stuff he shouldn't. Another kid has been locked up for 3 years now and he's not gonna get out for another 2.
There's more constructive ways to deal with anger and boredom. Sports, Computers, Art, and Video Games are just a few examples.
I gave one of my friends a speech like this and now he's finished his rehab and he's clean :)
YOu still have to live though man, getting drunk and being a dick is part of growing up and learning about the world aswell as respecting people :)

It's happened in england i won't deny.. and guns are being heard of more here too but that's just too much, america needs to all smoke a bowl and calm down.. or not.. whichever is better .. :|
XD
Let em shoot eachother, like real life CS or something, red team FTW!
Kudos to you! Finally someone with common sense in this world. :) You seem much more mature than most other people.
You're right, how your parents raise you does tend to effect the way you act. My parents introduced reading when I was little (lyle the crocodile ftw), and encouraged learning; and here I am, a student who gets all As and loves to read.
Yay! I love Kudos bars :-) lol Common sense isn't really too common anymore in society. Kids need to learn how to deal with their problems. Bringing in an AK won't do anything. How does a kid get hold of one anyway lol. I'm just waiting for someone to bring in an RPG to school. That's when we know the world is too messed up to fix.
Theres not literal SCHOOL shootings, but there's people that get shot on the busses, on the street, and on there way to school and such. Everyone gets busted for drugs, daily. So it's no big surprise to hear that someone got shot, killed, or is locked up for drugs. Daily occurance around here. You don't get shot, unless you deserve too. Thats why I don't mixed into that shit! ;)
So mostly, it's only the drug-dealing, type of crowd that get into the gun fights. Lol.
=)
