What is it..?
Looks rather intriguing.
It's an escalator!(?) :D Vary nice shot I love the composition of this.
Still can't see it myself.. Haha.
I still think it's sexy. :)
Awesome, tres thought provoking! a little more light would be helpful methinks :D
Cal: Upside down.. ;)
Dale: Thanks! Though, I want the viewer to focus on that round logo thingy in the middle, that's why the bottom is a little darker!
Nice idea, though the whole image inside the border seems a bit tilted to the right.
Did you photomanip the escalator? for it has no steps :P. Also it seems there are two waves of shadows right where it starts to bend. Something just bothers me about that.
lol at the bottom it seems a bit scary XD. It makes me think of being in a mall when it's closed, and no one else is a round :P.
Looks like it just shows the part of the escalator where it smooths out, the view is at too great an angle to show the rest. You can see this easily after rotating 180 degrees.
Anyway, it looks great, really thought provoking as Dale said.
no somes escalators.. if you can call them that are just smooth all the way down.. they have them in the tescos' near me.. it's for trolleys and such to go down easily..
No manipulation. It's called long exposure. >;P
geeze how long? :P lol
and was that part of the area dead to take one with no people?
I'm curious... did you take the picture with your camera upside down, or turn it upside down in ps :p
8 seconds.. Which resulted in very blurry or no people, since people tend to walk around alot. There may have been like 5-10 persons walking by during each of the shots I did. Also, the reflections in the glass on the sides hides some stuff.
Dale: Flipped it verticaly in PS actually. ;) But what does it matter - if it was film I could just flip the paper copy, lawl. :D
I don't know, i just wanted to know whether you somehow accidently took a picture upside down and became all like.. oooh! :p
Haha, teh skill to accidently take a photo upside down. ;)
would be nice if the contrast was a little higher but looks nice to me
Thanks. I gave it a tad more contrast!
I think a bit more cropping of the black on the bottom, would make it look alot more...."industrial" feeling...
Love it! ;)
