Apples!

i got bored so i decided to make this:

just looking at it, i dont like the text but i didnt save so dont comment on that. i didnt really know wat forum to put this in but since it was a photo then i put it in here. if it looks slow let it run thru 1 or 2 times so you can see the effect

NB: For those with slow internet - this IS AN ANIMATION, it takes a while to load, i know (1mb)

Wow that's pretty cool , but if it's meant to looklike an old movie, some of those dodgy lines, and blips coming up . Like little scratches ... you get them on the screen at movies.

Good job on this i love the colour , and the size is just right , i personally think the text fits quite well.. or it stands out well , all it needs is a pixel border... as is with every peice of art.

yeah, the problem is i cant seem to do pix borders on animations... ill see..

Wel all you have to do is make a new layer in photoshop, and then use the marquee tool select all, then right click and click 'stroke'


Works for me... there's a couple of other ways too but my way owns! :P

oh on my way u gota marque very layer with stuff on then crop then add an inside stroke...

Lol.. just put one empty layer on top of everything and do it my way ;) If you want to that is................................................ .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .............................

Meh.. i'm sure you're not as lazy as me. Anyways the new version looks kinda better... but the border flashes up so it's pretty random.

I think the animation should be a little slower. It also should have more variation. You're not suppost to see that it just loops. :P

I love the colors though! :)

shrink the image if you're worried about size.

rabies is right though, the first one was a little smoother but the second one is too fast and you can full out see the loop. I do love that effect though, I wish i knew how you did it lol.

On an unrelated note, im once again impressed by rabies' new sig. Where do you find those freaky-ass images man? lol

I was thinkin it looked like something someone would put into a "The Ring" type movie...a scary movie about apples! ahh!!!..(what pleymo said basically)

Maybe you should make the border transparent on all the frames...

Such a simple effect with horizontal grain filter, well done, really loving this. An old film effect would be interestng, try it out.
