Layout Design - what u guys think of my new layout?
Looks very nice, but i dont like it.
Looks fine, but its just sooo, boring??
No animation, no rollovers no nothing might aswell not be coded =[
Try spending more time on the site than the design
below the navbar there should be a seperation, and the offset of the main box really bugs me. Its alright until about.. 500pixels down from the top though.
As a general rule, I go for designs which keep rollovers and useless "Flash bits" to a minimum.. However, in this case, I agree with Ben - it could do with rollovers. Just a glow on the pip next to the links maybe, and something to let you realise that you are over the top navbar. Not much, but just a little.
Another thing, try to keep everything similar.
The content boxes have a lot of detail etc. on, and nothing else has? Sorta bugs me XD
okay well thanks for the feedback.. and what are you talking about seperator from banner and the content boxes ? also the way some of you guys put it, the layout sucks in your eyes?...

Yours does not suck it would just be better with more added, and thats some peoples opinion.
Nobody said they could do better and dont start getting bitchy, if you can't take honest C+C then dont ask for it. If you want I will lie and say its the best layout I have ever seen in the world, but it would be a lie.

Hmm no but i think you can use CSS if you know that:
something to do with A:Hover background:url or someshit, cant remember off top of my head
don't use Javascript for rollovers. Do you want to do an image rollover or just a link color/text effect change? Doing it with CSS is the best route.
ya wwe want a button rollover. the only way we know how is javascript and java sux in my opinion. try to use as less as possible
yyea is there anyway i can get a rollover image script or w,e for multiple buttons like so i can use what i have up there but just add a different image rollover for each image. ? or maybe just have the balls light up or somethin.

"Colorizing Specific Objects"... it's called Spot Color, it's been around for hundreds of years. Colorize is not a word. There's so many things wrong with that sentence...
