I like it i'd add a bit more of a bg though, i think thatd make it look amazing, and the swoop by his arm and the sparks are an awesome effect great job.

Like the updated version than the first. The first lacked background. Glad you decided to add some life into it in the updated version.
I like the render and the lighting. It fits the glow in Mario's hand pretty well. Overall, very nice sig.
