First abstract type pic!

What do you think? It's my first abstract type picture , i don't like the text myself but it's late and i've been trying to find something that works for ages so i'll do it later:S. Marks out of ten , plus points , bad points please.

Looks great, I erally love all the filters and such you used. Your work really has been improving a lot.

The thing I suggest you change is the color of the font. It looks really ugly =).

the font is really well... choppy... try blurring it or either turning the AA setting on or off... idk what one

for the frame man, use your polygon lasso tool and click around in an order that you thinks cool, just like his, then fill the selection, it should be the outer side of the image, then apply diff effects and go from there. if you have trouble with that, i would advise you to go to good-tutorials.com and then search "borders"

i already did but i still can't figure out how to make it transparent like his...

Like how u mixed that background with that border and had the abstract in there.
Font is o-k doesn't got with the other colors too well
but overall...8/10

Hey sure i'll make one .. it won't have many screenshots though because it doesn't need them , can i do it at the weekend i'm kinda stumped for time at the mopment... or i'll do it when i have some spare time. That border got good results ^.^ might have to use it more.

yeh its lookin good, i've only just started usin PS, so I'll post some of my work soon, hope u guys can give me tips on how I can improve :)

And in response to sonic's query, just select the layer of the border and change the opacity, or try lighten linear...just play around with the effects, they're all kwl :P

I think that the text color goes great with the text itself..in what the text is saying...but the text itself just doesn't go with the whole sig..I thought that there were already tuts on how you do the border and blend a render to a background..go search a little guys...

yea, you need diff text on that, but besides that, the right side needs a li'l brushing, annnd, its aweosme besides that. did you make the render?

The sig looks great, nice job. Did u use a downloaded brush set for ur sig? If u did can you let me know where you got it?

lol, the font really looks crappy :P no matching colors. I like the render and the bg. That looks good, and I like the cool but simple border, maybe a tad to big? :/ good ob for your first though.

Actually I agree with the border part, I think it&#39;s to plain and little to thick. The abstract is great but I would consider either a pixel border with this or get more detailed with this.

Border, size, colours, brushing, size, size size,

good render, the orange text dont fit with the BG (orange and blue-green). and the size is too high :( but overall good job
