really cool bro, but yeah... its not finished yet! FINISH it! make it crash into something, or have it in space, or just give it an area. cause now its making me sad that its not finished.

I like it without a bg :) Get the detail up, work into the smaller brushes. And it'll look good as a wallpaper or something :D

It looks good on it's own if you ask me. You don't need a background. Just refine the details throughout and it'll be boss.

its nice, I'd like it with a little more to it and a little glow to show that the embers are still burning hot. Good job tho.
maybe make an insane lava world or have it shooting out of a volcano or something :)

ty for the tips, and actually it started as me wanted a wallpaper lol... only thing im considering is changing bg color or adding subtle gradients...

details and fine tuning is what ill be working on now... havent had a chance to do much since i posted... homework and such
