I don't understand it. I have a good connection but it takes ages for pages to display or w/e. But at my other house i have a worse connection but pages pop up instantly XD hahaha... probs the fact this is running an older windows for my dads work >< bah. and internet explorer :/

Probably because firefox immediately gives you the result of its HTML renderer while IE waits for the page to be finished rendering before giving you output. Although the difference in load times is usually negligible, and IE is actually faster overall, I believe... Could be the version of windows?

rob you have a lower one because your isp sucks, if it's a high download the upload usually sucks from the isps over here.. they sometimes don't even state the upload speed so you could get 256kb/s which can lick my nuts..
