HDR experiments!

I'm learning how to use HDR (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_dynamic_range_imaging) which is real fun. I'll start with one photo and maybe I'll add a few more later. :)

These are all created with only one RAW file each, which I have processed and converted with RawShooter essentials and then merged to HDR with Photomatix Pro 2.3.1.

Theyre nice, but not very.. strong HDR. I say you keep experimenting, to get more results

btw, did you buy photomatix?

I don't really know very much about Photography, I just know that these are very nice quality, and easy to look at.

Good job for early experiments! Keep them coming, I love your work!

rob: You know, most photographers hate the overkill HDR style. I'm no big fan either. The main purpose for HDR is to get rid of overexposed areas and stuff like that. Then someone came up with a style that looks really weird.
Yeah I bought it, I paid just as much as everyone else here paid for Photoshop CS2. ;) lololol

HDR is all about post editing. :P But some colors are a little overdone in Photoshop, maybe. ;)

One each. That's the good thing with Photomatix. You don't have to use several photos to make a HDR, as in Photoshop CS2. I just saved one RAW as three (or more) different exposures and opened them in Photomatix.

Amazing pictures. I read the article on Wikipedia and most of it went over my head but I think I kinda understand what it is.
I like the first one, but I like the colors in the second one more.
Whenever I see your pictures I want to go out and buy a really expensive camera lol. Keep up the great work.

Haha, thank you! :) But you don't need a really expensive camera! Just get a decent SLR and you are good to go!

I like these, like said above i don't know much about HDR, but these pictures are pretty cool. I also really like the clouds in the second one, even though the orange is a little weird, the rest look great. Good job man keep it up.

A decent slr is pretty expensive, hahah :p

Ah well, a decent CHEAP SLR then. :P I mean, my 350D is not in any way a bad camera.

basically means you can change lenses.

They look great! I love the sky on both of them and the vibrant colors. Also, loving the great quality of the pictures.

Thanks! And if you guys are talking about the image quality, I can proudly say that they are only at JPG quality 7. This is why I'm trying to tell people that putting huge stuff on the Void as PNG is totally stupid. People can't tell the difference, even if they think they can. löl
