Should your tattoos have meanings behind them?

Depends on the tattoo? They don't need to but they can.

meh, I have 3 different ones. Dunno if they 'mean' anything, but I remember when/why I got each of em. So...maybe?

In theory, they should, I think. But I have one that I just like... and I'm getting one soon in honour of my grandpa who passed away when I was younger.

They should, since it will be with you for a long time. Don't want to go out, get hammered, and get a tattoo of care bears across your back because you thought it was funny.

Thats how i got my nipple peirced. I think you should definately have meaning behind them, theyre on you for a long time, and you have to deal with them.

I'm going to get one probably. And if I enlist in the Marines I will definitely get one of the USMC somewhere on me.

They don't have to have meaning, you just can't regret them. As long as you can live with it, then there's nothing to worry about.

I think it's probobly for the better. My fat whale of a cousin got a pooh bear tattoo on her arm. Now she looks immature and ridiculous, and regrets it a lot. So it's prolly better if you do have a meaning.
