Nice photo itself, but your still getting halos in your editing :/ it looks fine with them now, but if you want to print this or do anything else, you might want them gone, it kinda kills the photo for me, but i suppose leaving them in is just a choice you made.
I can't see any halos?
They are bright areas in the lighting around major shapes or dark areas of shading, not really halos, more of an aura, if you use photomatix or shade raws together it sometimes makes those patches of light auras if you dont use certain settings
some people like em, others dont, its opinion so w/e lol
They all look like the same person. That says nothing about your photography, but they need some variation.
No halos from Photomatix. The floor isn't really clean either, I bet that adds to what you see. Maybe I missed some parts, but there is no halos from HDR in there.
It's just two persons. Owned. :P Guy to the left and in the stairs is me. It's a joke. But not just the photo, you'll see soon.
OOOOOOOWWWWWNNNED I was too. That makes me so happy.
This is actually a big project. http://www.myspace.com/youmeversusworld
Music will be uploaded soon, we just have to record some vocals and then master the first track.
yeah.. well again that isn't down to photography that's to how many clone's there are in the world sure he can choose how to have them in the picture but in no way would they change their appearance for a photoshoot like such and yes that point could've been avoided as i'm sure he knows so would cut down on arguing alot..
Sorry, i forgot the ":P" at the end of that.
You know, we emokids all look the same. Can't someone comment on the photo also? :( Thanks ROTD.
I think it looks very nice.. Have you tried hdr using multiple exposures? I'm pretty sure, (if you can get the models to stand still long enough that is) that you can recieve better results with more exposures.. I know there's a bracketing feature on the 350D, you should try it. :D
The place you shot in was perfect choice, its hawt
:F
Which lens did you use? 18-55?
Funny thing is, I haven't even said that it is HDR. XD But yeah it is. And you get fine result from only one exposure. But this image is heavily retouched after the HDR process. The HDR was just some extra fun, I don't even think it was that necessary.
18-55mm f/11 I think. One 110w flash with umbrella from the left, punched hard in our faces to get some fat, hard and dramatic light.
Rabie it is really easy to tell which images are made with HDR settings, or even just manual editing of exposures in HDR style (as well as multiple exposures); you didn't really have to say anything.
I dunno how you edited or what you did to it but it works for me, its looks just like a band of that style should be photographed. Good job rabies!
yeah definately a nice piece but boring for me because i like photography to have things i can look at for hours.. as a shot though your skills are vastly improving.. i always check the photography section for your photos, i much prefer your earlier one's though :)
I think I would have gotten the same result without HDR, so no, it's not easy to see unless it is this "HDR style". I did very very little during the HDR process. Like the minimum of everything, all I wanted was to get a few more tones in. What you see is almost completely Photoshop work. And that has nothing to do with HDR at all.
Thanks. :) It was a pretty quick edit. Me and my friend just went home to me after we shot this and fixed it pretty fast. Yeah I'm in love with the style. But it only works with metal and hardcore bands, hehe.
Yeah well it is a band photo. Will be hard to survive in the future if I only shoot like I did like 6 months ago. Moving more into the fashion industry, but I want to shoot bands in the future too. I have two booked atm and I have two models who are interested in some fashion shots.
That looks AMAZING! I'm loving it.
