So Here is another signature tutorial from me, i hop you can use this. :) its very easy.

My smudge tool is defective. O.o

I tried Ilovecohead's sig tut and now your's. Both things don't turn out the same. I have smudge tool, on Ilovecoheads, the settings were fine. Again with yours. But it doesn't come out correctly. Is there something else I need to do?

I am using the trial of CS3. >.>

I tried following this but got lost at some parts cause of my lack of smudge awareness I haven't used smudge till now...I added some stuff cause my outcome was nothing like yours and I got this

word of advice try not to make it too heavy

and NEVER. EVER. have the light source in the corner if it is possible for it not to be.

Hehe i like this outcome the only thing is wtf is that white thing commoing from his hand:) it looks like sperm :p other than that only our text needs some work. thx for trying it.

dont put outer glow on your text and blend it in better the render desent seem like a quality render either, maybe you didnt put on enough scatter

Very good tut:D Also found ot why my other smudge sigs looked horrible, my strength on smudge tool was only on 50% >.<

Sperm! Haha no thats a ribbon that was included in the render XD it was flying away from his hand lol! Sperm:rolleyes:

Decent outcome m8. I say blend her and the cat a bit more in and maybe do something elso to the place were its black it gets a little boring there.

what I meant was, do you work from the the bottom "Layer 1" (directly above the "Background Layer") to the "Top Layer"?

NSR answered my question, thanks for the tutorial though. I was actually starting from the top layer working my way down, which is a big reason why the one I was working on before didn't look right.

One thing I'm also having a problem with is adjusting the Smudge tool settings, I can customize the "shape dynamics" and "other dynamics" but I only get grey boxes for the other settings and cannot customize them. How do I fix it so I can adjust those settings?

You should have Scattering, Other Dynamics, Noise, Shape Dynamics and Smoothing...
The rest are supposed to be grey cuz they're for the brush tool :)

That's the thing, I ONLY have "Shape Dynamics" and "Other Dynamics"....The others you mentioned I cannot customize.

What version of photoshop do you use older versions cant adjust that ppl have told me.
