the "effects" detract from the focus.

v1 ftw, but i don't like the cloudiness all over the sig and on the render. Also it looks like you have two focal points here, the c4d and the kid, so i'd move the c4d a little closer to the render. Overall i think its pretty nice. 8/10

Maybe if you moved the kid just a tad more to the center and lower the opacity of the c4d the focal point would be better

The c4d effect on his face looks aweful...
Try erasing it...

I have to agree with the others, the effects on the kids hair and face dont work, they are really distracting. and you also have 2 very noticeable rectangles on either side of your sig.
