Most likely not. I think it costs too much. Plus I'd rather save my money that is going towards PS3 or Xbox 2.
I'd purchase it, the only thing that I dislike about it (and the main reason why I wont use it), is because of the ultra-short battery life. Its only suppost to last 2-4 hours per charge! Thats barely enough to watch a movie on it!
They should really work on increasing that, then i'd purchase it.
thats not true TacoX, it lasts about 6-8 hours..

Ive had one sence June...Its pretty good actually. The batery life is now like 5-8 hours, its ok, but long car rides suck with it. Movies kill your batteries faster than games, but now you can buy a second battery! So its alot better with that

I have one too since April. I watched a couple of movies and they do drain the battery faster than the games. Also, I can't wait until my gig comes in!

Im not gonna buy it, because i don't know where i could use it. Im gonna stick with mobile phone it has some games =).. and if i would buy it, games are too expensive to buy. I don't think Sony should make money by sellin expensive, small, crappy games

I might be selling mine, ive had it for about four and a half month and only been on it around 4 times.
Dont waste your money on games, buy a large memory card and downgrade to firmware version 1.50 and download games for free you silly Void people lol

Whats better, spending like £30 on one game or spending like £40 (i can get them for anyway) and get quite a few games?
The money you save by doing this will cover the cost of your psp anyway.
And if your psp is broke they cant see what version it is :P
intresting, been using psp for a while now, using 1.f ofcourse with free games and all, but all me resources of direct ISO downloads "suddenly"
dropped, guess sony finally did something about it though.
i can understand why sony let this go on for so long, everybody thought u could play free games so everyone bought a psp.. now sony played their game and made it neirly inpossible to download them ( only on P2P ofcourse but i dont really trust that shit... ow and torrents but not everybody knows torrent )
and on top of that all new games ofcourse require 2.0+ to play on psp, this almosts makes me want to upgrade to 2.5 (you can also watch tv on it with this new firmwire..)
so what do you think? 2.5 or stcik with your slowly decreasing capability of homebrew and free games?

I'm not going to get it. I still have my gameboy advance SP nintendo edition so thats been working fine for me. The only thing I would consider is trading mine in for the GameBoy Micro - those things are sick as hell.
Back about the 2.5, yes you can watch TV on it now if you have the Location Free Player equipment which costs like $300 (I think).

nope. it can play some pretty impressive games, but the music and video don't really appeal to me with the ipod revolutionizing the handheld industry as we speak. why should i have to pay extra for what im not going to use?
