fractal brushes

could someone please teach me how to make fractal brushes?
im on 56k and cant download the video tuts on here.
its just even tho ppl make brushes and share them, it doesnt feel like your sig if you havent done the whole thing yourself.

i made this in apophysis, then opened it up in photoshop 7.
how do i take out the baground to make it into a brush, or am i going the wrong way about it?

to take out the background you can need to make a new layer and set the blend mode to difference and then define the brush...it'll show up as transparent or the other way i am still trying to figure out , i'll tell ya once i do

Thats one of metals brushes? Lol doesnt look like any ive seen.

You needa get rid of the black part, when you open up the fractal from apop just go Select>Color Range. Then select the black part. After that all the black should be highlighted or something, then just hit delete.

Thats what worked for me.

im pretty sure its one of metals, not 100% sure though, ill try that, thnx firestyle.

Metal uses choascope and ultra fractal...I didn't recall his post saying he used Apophysis. Anyway, the way firestyle sugguested should work
