well, over the past days a lot of threads were created about various clips that can be found on sites like Drunkendelight, ebaums, muchosucke, etc. - you get the picture.
now personally I think it'd be better if we had a single thread where people can drop those links instead creatin' a new thread for every single video.

and what exactly does that have to do with the poll? if the link is posted in a thread of course people will still provide info to why the other members here should watch it.Quote:

I only get a limited time to check the forums here.

You guys are too concerned about keeping the boards "tidy." It takes the fun out of it. Let the people post what they want, and just ignore the topics that you don't personally like.
@Chris: I did not imply you were wrong. I merely wanted to know what exactly that had to do with the actuall poll question since you didn't comment on that at all.
@DoaC: tidy boards are easy to browse boards. I'm not hellbent on gettin' my way here. I just wanted to bring this up as I think a collective thread is for the better.

I only see one problem with the video threads. Is that people will post two clips from the same site...30sec after each other.
So instead of having two topics from two clips from the same site.. and posting 30sec after. Just put your clips in one thread... not two threads in 30sec.
Moreover, A collection thread eventually evolves into spam..
how exactly do you come to this conclusion? the "lol" comments are present either way. but a collective thread is easier to monitor for the moderators of this section.Quote:

Hmm.. I guess so.. The thread should be "re-organized" everyweek or so..
Looking at an 10++ pages thread (Eventually) sometimes turns ppl off from actually seeing the thing..
