ok, well.. im just asking cause im trying to figure out what people charge. i emailed someone about designing me a nice vector style design for one of my other websites im going to put up on the inter net in the next couple of months. soo.. I just wanted to know what people charge for a website layout. this way I do not get ripped off if i decide to have this place design me a layout.
I made a couple layouts my self.. but im not sure how much i like them and im looking for other ideas.
imo a good custom layout's price should range between 100-200$
and could go up and up all depends on what's on it and who makes it.
i know i would never make a comercial site for 200$, i used to charge 50$ an hour when i was working as an idependent graphic designer. So if someone makes it for fun from home, i guess that between 100 and 200 like Metal said is a good price.
Well, The place im looking at wants $600 for the design. $300 to get going & $300 when finnished.
ive seen some of there work and its pritty impressive as far as professional looking. here are some links to there work.

If someone here can do better and is willing to go a little cheaper.. im willing to go with that.

The script i need would need all the features geoclassifieds has.
and maby a couple more. If i do run out of options I might take you up on that offer. Do you think making a script like that would be alot of work?

if your looking for very High-End design done by profesionals then i suggest you head to www.levid.com
they make very professional sites but they come at a profesional cost :-/
these guys definitely know what they're doing.. if u have the money i'd say go for them.Quote:

^ anytime :) they did work for a company i work for so its right i suggest them :) i have to say that we are extrmeley please with them...they follow up theyre work and give extremly nice support :)
