I'm currently reading a collection of HP Lovecraft stories. They've all been great so far. I highly recommend finding a collection of his works.
Dark Tower series by Stephen King is also spectacular.
"Out" by Natsuo kirino is also an interesting read..

I have it, I am just too lazy to read it.
The Oath -- Frank Peretti
best book i've ever read
Catcher in The Rye.
A lot of Terry Pratchett books are good. The discworld series by him is brilliant. Also, if you like quirky writing styles, you may want to check out Brian Jaques.
I remember reading the Redwall books by him. I liked those a lot. read the first 15 i think.Quote:

Yeah :) Redwall is a good series. My favourite book by him is called Salamadraton or something like that... It's about a huge mountainous fort/castle thing on the beach which is there to stop invasions from the sea. It's run by badgers?!? And the sea invaders are generally rats and weasels, some foxes I think. It's really quirky.
The Giver
Enders Game (action, sci fi, war) - about 350 pgs
^ A short book, but it is EXCELLENT!^
Stormbreaker (actionpacked!) - about 300 pgs
^MI6 AGENT ALEX RIDER, VERY GOOD!^
Pointblank (actionpacked!) - about 300 pgs
^Sequel to stormbreaker, also VERY GOOD!^
There are a couple more books in the Alex Rider series that are very good also! I just can't think of the names atm.
The author of the Alex Rider series is Anthony Horowitz in case you wanted to know.
The DaVinci Code is supposed to be an EXCELLENT BOOK! Both my parents have read that book and now, they look at everything in a new way. I love it, because it makes them think things through, and they have had a more positive outlook on life. A MUST READ!
Ender's Game was pretty good
Umm... Remnants series is good (but I only read the first so I don't know past there)
snape kills dumbledore
Lemme see..Stormbreaker, Point Blanc, Skeleton Key, Eagle Strike, Scorpia and Ark Angel.Quote:

Yup that sounds like the right sequence
Anyone here read Eragon?
For Whom The Bell Tolls by Ernest Hemingway, if i didnt mention that before. its about an anti-facist guerrilla unit located in spain during WWI. Amazing book!
