Maybe if you made a girl a bit more like the background it would make a better piece?

Perhaps its to show that patriotism is really a hideous thing that causes many of the worlds current faults. Ever think of that?

You can tell the girl isn't intentionally misshappen, enough time wasn't put in to add detail.
Also if that was the case (Which I doubt it was; I think he was trying more to match the color scheme in the background) then their are more artistic ways to illustrate that. Other then ruining a potentially good portrait.

I think the uglinees (if intentional) of the girl could be potrayed better... Other than that.. The whole piece looks nice.. GJ Gazo.

imo, I think she is choppy, and the rest of the picture is smooth.

I apologize if my criticism came off in the wrong manner. Wasn't meant to be offensive in anyway, I was just voicing my opinion over a piece that is somewhat controversial. If I was to ever show a piece that you felt could be improved I think the best criticism would be blunt.
I respect alot of your work as you are a talented individual. But i'm just in disagreement with some way you executed pieces of this art.

you must really love your country if you put the much effort into such a great vector great work keep it up!
the only thing i sondt like about this thing is the colors you used to give shadow... use darker colors to really define areas that are more hidden and shadowed than others.
im not a big fan of vector art, but this one i like for some reason.. but the shadowing problem being fixed would help alot imo.

I was putting out MY perspective on what I thought of his piece. Not yours.

And how can I not understand vectors? I'm pretty sure I have a good concept on what a vector is. Vectors are done through mathematics as opposed to raster based imagery which is pixels.
When I criticised his portrait I was critical over the look and nothing more. I doubt he would care about my 2 cents over what I thought the message was portraying.
If you can seriously give me a good reason on why I don't understand art OR vectors i'll be a good boy and shut my mouth. Otherwise keep your 2 cent comments to yourself.

Obviously you didn't get the point of my post. Don't question the integrity of another poster. In fact you should've never included me in your post in the first place.
I even apologized because I also thought my post came off a little harsh. I was just trying to accentuate a point that if he were to change he would have a really nice piece. I wasn't making momma jokes or anything. I don't have anything against a guy I don't know.
