I don't like the text on either, and the first one feels a little empty on the right, but they are great apart from that :) The second one could do with a little more variation in colour though, perhaps?

Well, if you want the text to look "Professional" then it has to look something like arsonists, Mystikals and Lumix. Their text is small and sharp, but there is a crucial difference between theirs and yours.
You don't have to strain to see what theirs say.
For example, I can clearly see that mystikals say Mystikal TM
I think yours say ConceptualWorks

Yups, I love the second one, I feel the explosion too (Hmm, maybe a bit exaggerated..) It's great! Personally I like the text a lot, it might be a bit too small and sharp, but it's still good.
Great abstract renders too, just..really..really..great :D
