1st of all, Photoshop CS2 is WAY DIFFRENT, and Better then regular ps. And no ps cs2 brushes dont work on ps. trust me, more options in cs2 then regular, www.photoshop.com read it, it's GARANTEED!
You talk like Photoshop CS is the one and only Photoshop...Quote:

Photoshop CS2 is basically the upgraded version of CS, but in my opinion they are both SHIT. Nothing so far is up to the same standard as Photoshop 7.
Yes.. CS2 is a system hog.
Well, From a long time user of PS7 & CS & CS2 i would have to say CS2 is much better, " IF YOUR COMPUTER IS GOOD ENOUGH TO HANDLE IT " I say that cause it is a huuuuge drain on systems.
So you would need a FAST cpu, Fast Hard Drive, lotta lotta Ram.
If you have a slower cpu and everything else. Go with PS7.
Though most people are making brushs & other stuff for the CS & CS2 versions. though most PS7 stuff works on CS2.
yeah I think CS2 is much better, dont hate on it if your computer sucks. :PQuote:

I know from my old computer, "glad i got a new one"
anyway cs2 is the shit if you dont lag while using it..
One question, I got this problem with the 2 foreground square, when I choose a color "red, green, yellow etc..." They dont appear on the foreground lil'square but if I paint with it, it will work (but I cant still see the color I have chosen!!) "only happening with cs2"Quote:

' Thank for future help ;) .
hmm ive never run into this problum.. could be your video card, could be the program not happy with something in your computer. could be something with your video driver.
could be anything.. i would suggest calling adobe customer support and see if they can work out the issue with you. or goto the adobe site and try to see if you might need a patch of some sort.
:)
In my opinion, PS7 loads much faster than CS2, and it's kinda laggy when you drag any windows in CS2
When i used CS2 i didnt find really any difference....(i use CS)
I use CS2 and I dont lag or anything, I think its the best
AMD Atlhon XP 3000+
512 Ram
I use CS 2, and I don't get lag. (ATM I've only go 256 ram also. But I run a clean comp.)
I got CS2 and returned it immediately after I saw how much strain it put on my computer. Right now I am using CS and I LOVE it. Its's great.
im using CS, dont see a reason to upgrade to CS2 either...
also, IMO, 7 and CS are the best versions, just happen to have CS so im gonna stick with that :)
Well, people seem to say there's a lot of difference between CS and CS2, I just don't really see the difference though. Or maybe because I don't experiment enough.
I agree with Kompakt and most of the people here. CS and PS 7 is the best so far that I've seen from Adobe Photoshop. What is the lowest version of Photoshop btw?
photoshop 1.0 :P
i guess ill be sticking to CS1 then ^^Quote:
