Who is Red.Agony? Maybe he's asleep and nobody has bothered to wake him up yet. Or he might have fallen over and is way to lazy to get back up or something.
I dont miss him, no offence to anyone..Quote:

:o I'm really offended.
Red Agony does alot of traveling to different countries. I believe he's only active when he's at his home.
...for those of you that don't know who Red Agony is, he was our MOTM awhile back. You could check out his interview in the MOTM forum.
Red.Agony and Jack were both cool people. i miss them both.
Same. Red.Agony's work and photoshop skills were far beyond anyone's in here, in my opinion, that guy was amazing.
That's because he has been pro designer for his work. It's funny to see people without any photoshop courses or any education about designing still can develop great original work.Quote:

like pretty much all of us here...
I've had Photoshop lessons, but that was just things like "How to use the selection tool" and "Learn to make leaflets in Photoshop" and "Vector clip-art in Photoshop" etc... Just basic stuff. I had to teach myself how to use brushes and how to use Photoshop to it's potential...
I think the reason I like 7 is because I learned on 6 and when I bought the upgrade to 7 it was like "WOOOOAAAAAAH!" and I didn't want to sacrifice 7's superiority (as well as wasting £100) on the upgrade to CS as I'd seen really bad reviews at the time. The same with CS2... Most reviews I've seen, and when I've used it at school, it's been laggy as hell and it has a HORRIBLE interface.
^^ offtopic.
Red is pro. He will stop by now and then, maybe for a month hes here then for 4 months hes away or something.
That was meant to be in another post!
I think he's in Taiwan for a few months.
im the same about the lessons, just the basic stuff, although my digital art class right now is more design than anything, the basic knowledge is expected. we dont revivew anything, we just take off and go. we spent like a day on illustrator and thats it, so im learning that as well.Quote:

photoshop 7 is good, but CS is better than most make it out to be. i do agree on the CS2 part though.
I like CS2, just because I've got it fully customized, and I really like some of the new filters.(filter>render>fibers for example) And ya, I've got it to do everything I want, everything hot-keyed!
yeah i have to agree with you on that silenced. i got my fully hot keyed to.. i also set up macros to do basic things for me in seconds.. saves me time ;)
