He's made some good stuff, mostly The Marshall Mathers LP which is a solid 4 almost at 4.5 out of 5 to me.

Don't really consider Dre or Kanye emcees, yeah, they can spit on the mic to an extent, but they're far more superior in the stuido as producers. Agree about the old Shady, couldn't stand Encore and the new Em. Put Jin in there for the hell of it, he gets bagged on alot cause he's asian, but to turn away from a record contract, decide to participate in freestyle battles (a lot of em too), and then put out a new work under an independent label...that's somethin, plus he can rip and rhyme with some of the best today.
Eminem, 50 cent, Dre, Xzibit, Obie Trice and some more... Mainly Eminem tho. I believe that his raps are far smarter and wittier than any other rapper's lines.
Nice list, but Jin hasn't done anything amazing. He's solid, but I wouldn't even put him in my top 100. He's a good battler, but He hasn't done anything different.Quote:

And on your comment at the end there, very true. Especially since Dre uses ghostwriters all the time and Kanye has done it as well (Rhymefest). Same reason I'll never put Eazy-E in a top rappers list. He's just a hype man, or a front man, that was there to give them street cred. And to fund their start with drug money.
Agree about Eazy-E, and yea, not sure why I put Jin in there...maybe it's just because I thought his new album was the shits and one of the best out there this year ('The Emcee's Properganda')...if anything, I would put Big L and Big Daddy Kane on my list too...and AZ...Quote:
