everything made by me in apophysis and photoshop. Only two brushes we're used (those little x things).
My project over the last two days. Spent about 2 and a half hours on it yesterday, and at least 5 today. I sorta like it gritty and filled up. I doubt you guys will though.
It's a manipulation of Maynard James Keenan's high heel boot.
its nice. i like it, tho i think you sould take those arrows out. and the crosses imo, they dont fit with the sig, its a nice job tho the gritty look is nice,
and where can i get ma self a pair of them there b00ts?

and yah, the arrows did look a little too distinctive, and I dont like them in there. I'll edit it and try to find something to fill up the space (because that's what they were used for).
It's okay, pretty nice depth to it. I think that must be the apophysis renders.

lol, YEAH! regardless of the 20 duplicate layers of the original image I have, it MUST be the 3 apophysis renders I used.

looks nice, however after knowing it was a boot it somehow lost a bit of the appeal for me, maybe becuase it lost the abstractness and ambigunity of the sig, still i like it quite alot

If you want to, I'm not really that fussed ;). It'd probably be easier and quicker to just show me what it looks like without the apophysis layers ;).
It looks alot better without the fractals. Its pretty nice either way though.

lol, you have every right to doubt in me; as much right as I have to defend myself ;p. There is a lot of details added with the fractalswhich I like, but I still prove my point that the original image was manip'd to do a lot of the work, along with special effects.
