those parts need revising.. try achieveing a smooth overall flow.. the brushing is kinda obvious and disturbs the flow.. render needs to stand out more.. sharpen once?
focal point needs to be stronger.. fade the sides a bit?
don't worry about the text.. work on those 1st :)
damnit this is a really good signature if you look at it closly. The light source looks awsome. but you can see some faint rays of light which just added the best finishing touch.

Nice signature, and my suggestions are the same as Limus.
Overall I'll give it a 9/10. Still needs some work but keep going on it! I'm tired of how people just drop working on sigs after they post it!

added v2 is it better or have i smoothed it to much?
No, V2 is much better.
I think it looks good, but the text is weak (as you pointed out), and I think his right shoulder (ie the one on the left) needs a little more definition, it doesnt look quite right just yet. With a bit of work will be really good :)
