Red planet.

I was messing around with the lightning tut, when I got carried away and got...

The background doesn't fit the planet, but its cool...like a comic lightning thing. Just focus on the planet...

That looks pretty cool but it doesnt really look like a planet, ide say its more of a marble :)

hmmm doesn' look like a planet to me, more like a marble. i tend to be a bit fussy about planets so maybe i'm being nit picking. you should try some cloud filtrs and so forth, there are some good tuts around on planets..

I think it involves glowing edges? Lol...im not sure. Good effect, make a tut. It dosen't look like a planet.

Well actually theres a tut already made like this, forgot where but I think it was called how to make a sun or something to that effect I will see if I can find it.

nice job!..doesn't look like it took much though..try entering that into the "more realistic looking sphere contest" in the battlegrounds section..

I've made better....... much better. The fact that it does not even look like a planet And the BG that doesn't make me thing it's in space pulls it down. Toooo much white and if you want it so seem like a planet, use like a rock texture. The BG of like the spiney things stinks.

For like a crystal ball its ok but calling it a planet....... no.

I was trying to write a tut, but I spent an hour thinking what the hell I did. Apparently, I just went straight to filter gallery, so I couldn't figure out which filter I used.

Oh well, always another opportunity... :/
