The background doesn't fit the planet, but its cool...like a comic lightning thing. Just focus on the planet...

hmmm doesn' look like a planet to me, more like a marble. i tend to be a bit fussy about planets so maybe i'm being nit picking. you should try some cloud filtrs and so forth, there are some good tuts around on planets..

Well actually theres a tut already made like this, forgot where but I think it was called how to make a sun or something to that effect I will see if I can find it.

I've made better....... much better. The fact that it does not even look like a planet And the BG that doesn't make me thing it's in space pulls it down. Toooo much white and if you want it so seem like a planet, use like a rock texture. The BG of like the spiney things stinks.
For like a crystal ball its ok but calling it a planet....... no.

I was trying to write a tut, but I spent an hour thinking what the hell I did. Apparently, I just went straight to filter gallery, so I couldn't figure out which filter I used.
