Yes, I am still learning so i guess you could call me a noob :P. So here are some sigs i've created, each maby 5-10 minutes and all done with a week.

not bad, work on adding some depth and better perspective in your tags and try not to make it one color. typo can use work as well. keep going man.

uuuargh .. sigs with only 1 colour .. standard-beginner-probs ...

contrast, blend render, (maybe also bigger), MORE COULOURS, some cooler effects .. u'll learn it here ... and the text realy suxX in any sig

(no mean no harm ... just the same like everyone who begins ;) and because of that, the most one's doesn't post in threads of beginners)

So what do i need work on? Should i add some abstract renders in or something?

meh its looks ok as it is..
just the background not very busy so i think you should make the text more simple cos at the moment it stands out a bit too much

I think its overally pretty good but i need some help with where to put the text and maby i should put a rectangular marque somewhere, im not sure.

I'm diggin' the [green] Final Abduction one the best. Not bad.

What about the one in my sig? Is that good?

Because there are so many, I am just going to give you s few pointers and such.

try to use colors that work with each other, not contrasting colors.

sometimes, the fancy fonts dont look as nice as just times or arial

scanlines dont usually look good.

Try to not get a lot of brushing etc above the stock

Usually i just add a gradient then add them brushes on it for press ctrl+u to change the colors to fit the gradient. Then i might add some more brushes onto that or i just might look for a render that fits thats background. Then i find a font that fits that. Someone teach me how its done lol.

Try brushing with colours.. Instead of using Gradient maps/C Balance layers.. Use them to add a finishing touch..

Your on the right track. Try spending 20 minutes on them though, that would help.
