Okay guys, been a tad busy so took a while to finish it, but found some spare time today and decided to finish it off.
I know its different, its sposed to be transparent (use firefox, IE wont display it properly). But please give me your comments to futher the improvement of my work :D

if you save as a gif, it will work on ie as well
any comments bout it though? btw, i thought gif was a lower colour depth so i would lose quality. I do know that it doesn't have graduated transparency so i dont know how clear the edges would come out.
well, i thought you had posted this b4 but in different colors, its nice and the colors are ALOT better ;)
w00t thats pretty cool, the sphere really looks like one and the colours r good, but it could look good with a lil evil look, with the sphere dark red and the rest black or dark grey :blink: maybe thats not ur style, but id like to see what would that be like
The metal/chrome part looks really good, i don't know about the blue-ish thing tho..

I fought with the metal base part for ages. some would remember me posting the drawing of it before i tried to do it properly, but trying to use smudge/burn/etc on that size res is just impossible, so i ended up fidling with styles. Thinking of making a style of the above so if i do more i can just apply the style.
Personaly I like the HUD colour, but I do agree that its the 'standard' colour that all HUD's tend to be. I may make a few variations and post em (wont be for a couple of days though). I think I will have a crack at the evil style, though i'm not sure how i will go at it.
Oh, I knew it would work in IE, just that the transparecny doesn't. For some reason IE doesn't show Png's correctly, though it could be related to the theme i'm using in here.
May make a series based on the theme. Thanks for the comments guys :D
Lol for the evil style you could make it dark red with grungy tech ^_^
i dont like how the tech kinda ends abruptly at the edges and how a line that goes the right is just cut off suddenly. maybe if you edited it and drew it so it would fit around the oval top it'll look real nice. instead of just brushing and framing it.
oh otherwise its a good piece.
