As a resident of Queensland, Australia, we have the perils of exposure to the sun and sun beds thrust down our throats. We have one of the highest incidences of skin cancer in the world, and it costs the government a lot in health care, hence why its thrust down our throats.
So in answer to your question, i don't think doing it is gay, but i do think that the risk of skin cancer isn't worth the risk to have a darker complexsion for a few weeks.
Nah, i'd rather have a day at the beach.. much more fun, and less camp ;) Lol
yea, i just go surfing. yea im a surfer, but because of school i havent been able to go in forever, im so freaking white! >.<
im always pale in the winter :P
But in the summer i go swimming around 2-3 hours a day, so i get pretty tan.

Metal..must be fun living in Australia..I've always wanted to go there..I've never seen kangaroo in real life :(
i am from saudi arabia,,, i was born with a perfect tan lol,,, all natural so no white spot in my ass hehe

Im from the Pacific Islands now living in Australia, naturally i have dark skin but here in Aus theres sun all year round which keeps me black and in tact :D. I love it here and dont need to go to the salon however there tend to be nice girls there :D
Lol, I wouldn't goto to a tanning salon, I don't know if its called that in Aus. I could probly walk around with naked to get a tan, but in winter so i don't burn... but then my bits will fall off from the cold :(

lol, if you wanna get a tan in a tanning salon, just go get it man, say you're going to the beach for a day or so and hit the salon man :P

Tanning is so vain. As for wether or not it's "gay"... would you think wearing make-up and lipstick is gay? if so, then yes...it's pretty gay. IMO
Lol mohammed =). There's no beaches here in Chicago besides lake michigan, and that's about 50 degrees in the summer - not mu cup of tea.
When I used to live in texas it was always sunny and always nice - so I was out more. Here in chicago its mostly shitty - so I started doing more things inside.

Personalley i dont go outside. I stay inside most of the time and im kinda white but not to white. I would never go tanning. I would just put on some sunscreen and go outside.
Since chicks dig darker skin men, is it worth it? Hell no, burning ur skin for the sake of women lol forget it. Recently on an Australian television program a woman was severly burnt during a tanning salon session and various tanning salons are under investigation for faulty or non-compliant tanning beds.
Even in gyms now, especially Fitness First here in Australia they have tanning salons for men as well! Thats crazy - Do they have that in America (pretty stupid question but - oh well!)
