This might be a noob question, but how do you do the lines going horizontally across the sig?

I used the same render just to make sure I followed it correctly. Really nice tutorial.
I'm pleased with the outcome, I'll definately be using elements from this in other sigs I make. Thank you!

i refer to them as "scanlines" i duno if thats wht every1 calls em but its wht i do.

u open a transperent 3x3pxl document and with a 1pxl black pencil put dots from 1 corner to the other (which ever direction depending on which way u want ur lines to be angled) then go Edit>define as pattern.

once u have done this open ur siggy and apply the new pattern and lower the opacity to w.e suits ur design.

Theres mine. I actually had abit of trouble on some parts, so thats why it looks weird in places, etc...
But yeah..by the time i finished, i realized the left side was far to dark and i didn't want to start all over.
No text added yet...as i suck at it.
Just wanted to show off what i got. Thanks for the great tut man. Hopefully my next one will turn out better. xD

nice outcome, yeah ur left side is a bit dark, but the effects and stuff look nice dude. keep it up.

Nice tut, I really liked the Hulk outcome that you got but I wanted to try my own using a Prince of Persia render. It came out...not so good but I'm still learning. :P If you have any suggestions or tips that I could use to improve this sig please just tell me. Thanks again and great tut!!! :D

hmmm its nice but u didn't use scattering or anything on ur smudging that's why it looks different. but dude you're still learning so that's ok. the good thing is u learned some techniques and stuff. PM me if u need help on anything man.

maybe some minor blend of the bottom hand

Ok thanks Immortal, I'll try to use some scattering on it because the render does look disjointed from the BG and doesn't really blend nicely. Thanks for the advice. The only part I didn't get about the tut was the clipping mask part, but other than that I understood it pretty well.

In My Opinion tho, i tihnk u should get rid of the scanlines.
yes they look good, but they really draw away from the focal.
that's about it.
