My first ever planet....cnc?
Hmm its easy to see where you learned how to make this planet Greg Martin Right?
Hmm i have a wayy of creating them so the look more realistic. This one looks to brushed. and tehre is not much details on it. Contact me on msn if you wanna know the other way :D
wanna gimme ur msn address?:p
Nice attempt :)
thank you sir
You plan on putting it in a lp?
Pretty cool, although i think the blue halo lighting would be more reflective of surface water as opposed to just an orange looking surface.
Use bigger textures, and don't make them look "embossed", if you think of earth's view from space, how many highlights and shadows do you see on the land? :)
Nice though
Rather cool, but the edges of the planet are too distinct IMO.. Very cool for a first though! ;)
It's too blurred imo. u should sharpen it just a tad. not much tho.
And as for the blue "light" thingie. Make it more like the same color as the planet^^
Stars look nice:)
good job
Cool planet. I never could figure out space art XD, just didn't mesh right.
I agree with shadow try to sharpen it a bit. Also make it almost like a orangy yellow glow color. I think it'd blend in more but still give you that color change you seem to be lookin for.
thnx guys, yeah it was a first so i guess i'll improve, and dae i added you, mine was rakhulan@hotmail.com just in case ur wonder who that freak is:p
the atmosphere probably should be more orange, and there are no bodies of water leading to no distinct landmarks. but its good for a first, i used his tut for my first aswell. your starfield is pretty flat though.
