i dont like the red outline around the render because it doesnt blend in well with the background but other than that its cool :D

if you take a soft round brush.. set it to white.. and paint a new layer it creates a light source.. u have to make the brush pretty big though ( like 200-300 px ) .. then erase the bits u dont like and lower opacity... of course it can be overdone but when done right it looks nice

moar C&C it's quite helpful guys.

Another way to create a good light source is...

Make a new layer

Paint it black

Set it to screen

Then filter>Render>Lens flare. place the lens flair somewhere close to where you want the light source to be.


Then add a Gaussian blur to it preferably 40-70 pixels but you can play around with it.

I normally don't use this way but some people like it and find it a lot easier.

Used the logo wallpaper? Thats pretty good. Use some more c4d's :D

I figured too many c4ds may ruin it, I tried to create a ray or so to say, that was aligned with the render.
