Well, I've been using Apophysis quite a while now, I love it. x)

is apophysis free or do ya have to pay (to get it legal) if you gota pay, do you know any legal free ones?

It's free, just go to http://www.apophysis.org and download. :)
My advice is to do the basics tutorial, it will help alot.

If anyone has seen my tut on how to make brushes..well the hair thing goes along with apo., this is the better way to do it, but the hair thing would work also.

Thanks for sharing those brushes rabieshand, very useful, fractal brushes are rare so thanks very much. I will find a way to convert them to PS7 format for other members.

I still trying to convert them, in the mean time I got cs 2 and put the brushes to good use, well I was just playing about with them, thats what can be done, you can use as a preview image on DA if you like.
