Latest sig. Tried some new things, primarily smudging. Need opinions, not sure if it's too dark but I feel I got the lighting just right.

Dr D.
For me the render doesn't go with the bg:S it seems squished as well as u said lighting is perfect and so is text but im not likin the render choice gj on the smudging and text tho:)
It was a stock so I couldn't do much about the choice. It came with those colors ^.^ But ty for the comments.
The smudging is great, and the lighting is pretty awesome aswell. Nice job splinter.
Thanks Nova, can't compare to the lighting on your second sig man, it's perfect.
just so you know splinter this is your best sig et.. easily. That smudge is one of the better msudges i've seen on the void. The text is great with placement. Even the lighting works. My only crit is that the left side is too dark. brighten it up a bit and it'd be awesome. GJ
Thanks Papa, I just darkened it for the lighting I'll give it a bit of a brighten now and upload a V2.
Anything else?
sweet smuding man.
like pap sed.
its mint.
keep at it man.
with time u'll get even better.
Thanks immo :)
I like the text and where you have placed it, really works. Nice size sig aswell which is always a plus for me. Like smaller sigs as they look far tidier!
Not too sure about the fiery colours but the lighting is well done on it.
I'm still trying to learn how to get lighting down to look good but you definitely seem to have it in this sig :P
There are a number of ways to add lighting to a sig... some are actually rather simple.
Size 300 brush, colour white... the one that fades out. If you splash it ouside the canvas you get a dull light, if you set it to screen. It sometimes gives a nice lighting effect.
hmm yeah ive tried messing around with different things but I haven't gotten it quite down!
The more you mess the more you learn tbh. Just keep experimenting.
I would work on the depth.. it's a hard concept to master but keep at it!
Thanks guys <3
