Infamous sig

I personaly think its too empty on the left... i think, im un-decided, ill leave it to you :p

My advice, not that I am that good at sigs, but the blue around your render seems out of place. Text needs work too. I don't know what font you used for the "Infamous" text, but it's out of place. Stick with simple, default fonts in general. Not always, but a general rule.

I think the red C4D you've used works, but the blue one doesn't. I personally think it's lacking of colour with the grey and it doesn't match the focal. The text could do with a bit of work too. For your handle, use something short and non-generic. Numbers for me in handles are a no... that may be me being pedantic. A stylish sans serif font would suit the 'InFamous' text I think... or Olympiques. Nice sig but could do with a few improvements to bring a bit of 'wow' to it.

I personally think you would benefit greatly by learning basic blending. I'd suggest Ratchet's Prince of Persia tut or Daemon's Timeshift tut. I used them and still use the techniques in them now.

Try and make the sig smaller if you are having problems filling space - personally I find smaller sigs look better and they are a lot easier to work with if you don't have many ideas on how to fill them.

The smoke effect is well done but perhaps a wrong choice of colour.

Latest version looks much better, less spacious but I'm not a fan of the text.

Anyway, back on topic.

Firstly the scanlines - in my opinion are interfering with the text, they make it look messy. You have 3 options here.
1, Remove them all together - though I do kinda like them
2, Lower the opacity of them
3, Erase more of them - outwards so they don't cover the text.

Secondly, I don't think you need a different font because default fonts are actually quite nice, placement is fine, though I'd perhaps move it depending on how the next outcome looks.
Don't worry about the font, worry about the text itself. Just because when you type a word and it appears in that text box, you have to leave it like that. Mess around with spacing, colour, bold or normal...

For example.

Infamous
Ilostmyname

That is what you have at the moment, correct?
Look at what you can do with that text to make it look more interesting.

That is like, the best I can really do in this text edit box - but there is so much more you can do in photoshop. See how those look more interesting?
Use of colours you can use the eye drop tool to gather the right colours that match from you image, make one darker than the other so it doesn't look bland.
Make one word stand out more by bolding it.
Use spacing and make sure the words are even. If one word is really long and the other word is short, don't let it hide in the first few letters space it out

Also don't rely on using a contrasting colour to make your signature stand out. Always consider what colours go together
Blues, Purples and Pinks
Reds Oranges and Yellows
Nothing looks worse than making text stand out by using a nasty colour
Pink, Green, Purple, Grey

also maybe you should lower the opacity of the scanlines.

Make the ilostmyname capital letters
and try and center is as best as you can under infamous

Try and make it so both the top word and bottom word are level or centered as best as possible. Should look really neat then.

Try making Infamous capitals aswell.
Just looks more even.

I've never seen so many versions of one sig, tbh. What we up to now? 10? :D You've improved it dramatically though.

Thats V6 im just gonna do V7. my motto is why not have so many versions if you have 1TB of storage ready and enough money to buy another 8TB

kk, i tryed earllyer and it worldnt let me make it bold, got any idea why?

Could be the font, not all fonts allow for it.
What font are you using?

Make the infamous text larger so the I is in line with the I of your name and the S is in line with the E from 'name. As best you can.. Will take some fiddling

Also tone down the colour SLIGHTLY

NP, the sig now looks the best it can so thanks :D

Much improved. He still looks a bit stretched, though. The sig is 430px wide right now... if you make it around 340px (without changing the height, uncheck "constrain proportions"), the proportions would look better.
