I think I may begin playing that in a bit, from what I understand its absolutly amazing - and runs a lot cleaner, faster, and better looking than normal Counterstrike.
Once I purchase it (I can purchase, correct?), I will contact you asap so we can play a bit.

I think you have to buy Half-Life 2 to get counter strike source. But i would say its worth the price. Half-Life 2, is a great game and the graphics are amazing, but its a bit short. You could prob get it for about £20 now.
It comes with HL2...Both are simply amazing games. Blows away absolutely anything and everything that came out in 2004.
Source: Doesn't come with hl2 , cs:1.6 does though .. or so i beleive.

I'm [WOLF]EvilSquirrel. Cs:S is a great game, but it just gets old after awhile. I just wish there was some other stuff we could do in the game besides run around and shoot people. Yes, it's a FPS, but I think they could have given us something new with the introduction CounterStrike to an entire different engine. That being said, I'm a complete addict of the game :)
I bought warcraft 3 and the expansion ( frozen throne ) yesterday, i also bought tyhe CoD expansion pack. Warcraft is good but i had it before... CoD rocks man do any of you have it? And world of warcraft, it's not out here in england yet, for about a week or so i think :S Unless you mean just warcraft 1, 2 or 3 ...

I don't think I will start playing this game again, because when I did play it, it was actually not that fun.
My CS:S name is NoS.
And yes, the game is VERY addictive!
i love css too but i lost my cd key and i cant play any more.... :(
i play, but u wont see me cause i only play on my country's servers as i get lower pings there....

Usp>Awp, Usp is my very favorite weapon. So small but uber! Kinda annoying when 3 headshots can't kill a guy but oh well :P

However I play DM more then CSS (I seem to be better at DM then CS is the reason, but both are very fun).

DM is so fast paced, its really fun. What is that thing on the wall on one map, its like a ball on a rope, is it usefull in any way?

SLAM is a mine that you can either set on the wall, or detonate by hand. However it doesn't look like a ball, so I don't think thats what you mean =\.
Nah, I know what the SLAM is, it's this weird thing in the steamlab map, past the stairs where the shotgun is (bottom floor) and to the right.Quote:

Played a really great Deathmatch map today, the Combine get to fly Dropships around and have to save Dr. Breen, while the Rebels have to destroy the dropships and prevent the Combine from breeching the building and getting to Breen.
Its not fast-paced killing like most of the deathmatch maps, but that might be why I liked it so much, it really felt like Combine vs Rebels for once (most deathmatch maps have it so that each team is exactlly the same), was kinda cool to have different objectives depending on the team you choose.

counterstrike: source is included with all copies of half life 2...
I've been wanting to try source but right now im stuck with plain old counter-strike, but still ok. Once i get enough money i'll give it a try

great Game, nice graphics and very realistic but the gameplay at cs source is a lot different than cs 1.6 and it needs some time to get used to.
just wait till it comes out on Xbox Live...
