Sorry for double post - when you say smudge soft 13px 50% strength what do you mean? Just randomly smudge places with those settings?

EDIT: Wow I am an utter fail. I can't follow this tutorial it's not detailed enough for me: "Curves" doesn't mean anything to me. I give up at GFXing D: I'll stick to the stuff I can do. Thanks anyway Lewk.....

It was a quick written tut.

Curves is an adjustment layer. go to layer > adjustment > curves,

move it around till you get a nice result.

And what about the smudging for step 2 I think it is - just randomly smudge?

yeah smudge randomly.

get a nice mixture of colours and tones in there.

LIES! i wrote mine in like 1-2 hours xD you only have to retype some stuff in more detail!

Don't re-write it I mean just touch up on this tutorial, detail it up a bit more; or is that not possible? Just really hard to work with this quick written tutorial in my opinion. I am n00b. :D
