Liking the colour sections, and the red light is quite nice. The face could use more contrast, and the text needs a fair amount of work, it doesn't look right.
Pretty good man, try blending it a fraction, see how it looks.
I totally agree with the text, I need to get better at text.. much, much better. :P New version up with no text and tweeks.
The face is much, much better. The blending is a bit off, but it doesn't detract from the overall image. Put in some text when you're more confident with it. :)
I personally like the look of the text in V3 I just made, then again, I'm wrong about text alot. xD I think it fits the feel better though.

Although, for the text, you tried putting on a drop shadow? just a light one.
Oh! I did add a drop shadow earlier, but it was right after I saved it, and I forgot to re-upload. The one with the drop-shadow is up now. :P It doesn't make a huge difference, but it makes it a tiny bit more readable over his sleeve.
