The only diff between the 2 is the slight background.

I like the second one. The left side, obviously, is completely barren. Not sure if you intended that or not, but it seems TOO black, if that makes any sense? Not saying you should slap a render there, but I think a bit of texture couldn't hurt.
Overall, great effects on it.
Yeah it does look plain on the left and it is simple i like it but the left is just too much.
I've been having problems in finding something that works with it and that i can incorporate easily without having to go back about 20 odd layers and starting again

Cant edit the origional post which is a bit retarded but oh well. Theres the latest what u think?
I think the smoke is killing it. In the bad way.
Will remove the smoke, and post results.
ok take the smoke away and add texture or a cityscape to the bg blend the render! theres a start add effects from there and lets see a result.
The fire effect is very, very good but the BG is incredibly bare.
i like the most the 1st one.. redand bit brow makeslook it good :)
awesome job.
[Broken Link]The first one is very well done. The fire effect is very nice. But you could add something to the background. Maybe a c4d? Anyways keep up the great work.
your image needs to be hosted first lol we cnt see the image as its not a valid directory. Thx for the comments guys = )

Came back to this today put in a new stock and worked up what u think of the results?
maybe some cloud work with some firey look to it but not to bright..Overall i like it..
you dont know how hard it is to make that firey effect lol. I myself have not been able to replecate it. Can't remember how i did it and all the redo work on this one was on background and i didnt touch the effect with a barge pole. I did it with smudging of the render and colour with a little secret which i will not disclose but i'm not sure i'd be able to replicate it for the clouds. Have tried the effect on a couple of sigs and the colour for this just happened to be right.
the black to the right of the render is a building. Its a Cityscape but silhouetted. The City is Manhattan which if uve played stuff like prototype is perfect for tall buildings and thats the best simple one i could find. Found it when i was trying to replicate it with a prototype sig. It failed tragically.
Oh i can see it now. Lol sorry
