I like the web-like effects, but I think they should match the colors of your focal point, which is Spiderman.
Nice but i feel like a I be getting a dark feeling from this rather since this is when he's getting controlled by the symbiote.
The web should, like Jool said be a little bit darker, I disagree a littlebit, it should be a little lighter that the focal point.
Try making the web a little darker then a B/W Gradient Map on Softlight?

Better, but maybe tone down the web effects. ;)
It's a bit better, but maybe some lighting, depth, and more focus on that golden thing surrounding Spiderman's hand will make it even better.
